To All the Blogs I Follow…

This post is to all the amazing ladies whose blogs I follow. I am in complete awe of you! All the talent you possess is mind boggling. To say I’m intimidated is an understatement. It took me a long time to start my blog because I just didn’t feel I could live up to the high levels you ladies have put out there on the internet. I did take the leap for myself, to tap into my creative side, something I haven’t really done before.

Before I was a stay-at-home mom, I used to be a medical office assistant. I worked for nearly 14 years for numerous different specialists and surgeons. I ran a tight ship at each office, I’m a perfectionist and an organizational wizard! Every boss loved me because I put every ounce of energy into my job and did the work, sometimes, of two assistants doing all the medical transcription, medical billing, booking, OR booking, bookkeeping, etc. etc. Anyway, when I got pregnant I knew I was done and wanted to do something different. At the time, of course, it was to be a mom but I knew later on I would do something more on the creative side. I have a few ideas/dreams of what I’d like to do once my little ones are in school full-time and what a perfect way to explore my creative side by doing something I LOVE and I am passionate about! I love decorating my house and could spend every waking hour pouring over blogs and magazines and then redoing my house! (I can see my husband cringe right now in my mind).

Call me Martha Stewart but I love domestic bliss!! Being able to create something out of making a home beautiful sounds like a dream! I’m on my way to tapping into all my creative juices on this journey of learning how to use my new DSLR and showing you how my home gets transformed! It only gets better with age 😉
