A Spring Table/Dining Room Adventures

I hosted a party a couple of years ago with beautiful spring details on my table!

Since it’s spring this week, I thought I’d share a fun party I hosted a couple of years ago for my sister-in-law. My dining room back then was very light and bright. I loved it.
A spring table with a cake on a stand and tulips beside the cake.
A white table setting with pops of pink.
There are pink tulips on the table and a cake on a clear glass stand.
To the bride to be is on the cake.
It got me thinking that my dining room has changed a lot in the short 3 years that we’ve lived here. Let’s take a trip down memory lane to see some different decorating attempts. So this is what the dining room first looked like after renovations.

There is a chandelier above the table.
Then I got the cabinet from Pottery Barn and shortly held that little party above for my sister-in-law.

There is a neutral table runner on the table.
I wanted to create a cleaner look. I got some new dining room chairs {woot woot}. I painted the walls this grey/green color. Actually I wanted it to be more grey than green but it didn’t work out. I thought it was okay at first but now I’m wanting to go back to something lighter.

It’s also my goal to restain the top of my table and paint the legs.

So stay with me and I will show you a proper before and after soon. I’m planning to repaint the dining room and the table sometime this spring!!!
Have a great week!

    1. Thanks so much! We got it at Pottery Barn. It’s a modular set so you can build it the way you’d like. I can’t remember the collection name but I know for sure the stain is called Tuscan Chestnut so just add that name in the search box on the PB website and it should come up 🙂
