      1. Hello Jamie,

I’ve enjoyed your blog for a while and wanted to let you know. Life is full of so many twists and turns, and I am learning how to just relax, trust, and go with the flow.

As I was enjoying the “Canadian House Tours” series back in August, I had no idea that our home was about to undergo a major renovation. I commented on your blog on August 20, and the very next day, my hubby and I came home to find that a pipe had burst and flooded our home while we were at work!

Initially we were devastated, but I was grateful to the blogging community for all of the inspiration. (It definitely helped us through the 7-week renovation process).

I know this is a lot, but I stopped by your blog tonight to say “thanks for sharing your home” and as I read my original comment (posted the day before our flood) it gave me chills throughout my entire body.

There is no way that I could have known that appreciating the beauty of your house would lead me to my own! Thanks again and just wanted to share…

  1. Oh, wow, Jamie – your house is stunning! I love your vintage French style, and all the bits of aqua you use are wonderful! My favourite colour. I love your bathrooms! We’re currently working on ours, and I hope they turn out half as pretty. Thanks for sharing your home tour!

  2. I have always loved looking at your house. You have an uncluttered simplistic style that is very warm and just the right amount of eye candy. Wish I could pare down more like you! Just lovely is every single room.

  3. I just adore your style and your home. All that neutral goodness and all those vintage and beachy elements combined with texture and wall coverings and perfection???? It is all perfection! PS:I have been following along with you for so long that it was lovely to be involved in something with you!

  4. I love your home and find myself drawn to your rooms over and over again, whether it be at a link party or on Pinterest. I really love your decorating style. I will be featuring this tonight at my Fall into Fall party that opens at 8pm EST. Please stop by and pick up an I’ve Been Featured button. Thanks. http://diybydesign.blogspot.com
