Christmas in My Newly Renovated Kitchen

Today I am revealing my newly renovated kitchen all decorated for Christmas!

It’s Christmas in my kitchen and today I’m revealing new beautiful details in my completed renovated kitchen!

Earlier this year we did a whole kitchen renovation. I’ve shown snippets of here and there but never the full reveal.

When we bought the house, it was pretty dated and so was the kitchen. I painted the cupboards and did a lot of simple updating but I was dying for a large kitchen island.

We couldn’t have one in this space so I extended the countertop to look like a large island.

Here’s the beautiful newly tiled white wall. Best decision ever!

Best photo shoot spot ever! Here’s my Vintage Vertical Christmas Garland again.

After the kitchen was renovated, our old dining table and chairs didn’t fit in our eating area as the countertop was extended to the window. We bought a new chairs and table from Restoration Hardware and the old set went up to the not-so-rustic cabin.

The space looks so open and bright now. I just love all the white with dark rustic touches. It also goes with my Industrial Beachy French style.

I think the white farmhouse sink and bridge faucet are my fave part of the kitchen.

We shortened the countertop on the opposite side to have more built-in storage and to house the microwave.

Okay, I also love my new Sub-Zero fridge. We took out a bulk-head that used to be above the old cabinets so it gave us more height in the kitchen.

I made this simple ‘Merry Christmas’ garland using these metal and kraft tags.

And just for fun, here are a few photos of the OLD kitchen!

You’ve done a beautiful job, you must be so happy that it’s done and functional. A great place to Play! Kitchens are such a big part of our lives, we spend so much time there (mostly by choice), so it is wonderful to be able to create a space that is welcoming. 14. You never cease to amaze me with your decorating talents! The kitchen is so dreamy and bright. Maybe one day when I finally FINISH renovating my kitchen I can use you for inspiration……right now I’m still living with no backsplash, two different floors, and unmatched light fixtures 🙁 I have a hard time getting things done. (I love your idea of hanging the clipboards with the vintage images down the wall, too.)

    1. Aww, thanks girl, you’re too sweet. I used to be awful at making decisions now I just make fast decisions because it’s stuff I love. But time and money are usually the bigger obstacles, right?
      Hugs, Jamie

  16. Beautiful Kitchen! I know this post is older but I have the same microwave and I’m wondering what trim kit you used for the built-in look?

    1. AH! How did I miss your comment? So sorry. It was a trim kit that I got from the appliance store. The microwave is a Panasonic and the trim kit was too.
      Hugs, Jamie

  17. Kitchen is beautiful. I know it was long ago now but did you ever find counter info. I’m in midst of remodel and love your counters…. Thanks

  18. Hello, I know this post is old but I love your kitchen especially the black handles/knobs. Can you tell me where you got them from? I’m having trouble finding the same ones. Thanks 🙂

    1. Hi Kristie, I don’t have the name of the color grout but I literally just picked a charcoal grey grout to go with it. Light grey, dark grey or white all look really good! The house I’m in now has white grout with subway tile.
      Hugs, Jamie
