Get My Dining Room Look
I am sharing with you all the details on how you can get my French vintage dining room look.

My rooms are always put together over time. I use vintage finds mixed in with some deals plus some big ticket items. All of that takes time. You can’t just order all of it from a catalogue.
But how can someone else recreate this look?
I recently shared my dining room source guide but today I’m showing how you can find similar big ticket items to recreate my French vintage style.
I had this wooden farmhouse table made for me but you can find them easily and just paint the legs grey.
This rug from West Elm is such a deal.
You can still purchase this side table from Restoration Hardware but I found another similar one for cheaper (see end of post for details).
This cabinet from Pottery Barn can still be purchased online and there’s another gorgeous one at Ballard Designs.
Okay, so here is my list of items I found for you to replicate in your home.
I purchased my chairs at Home Sense and distressed the legs but the ones I found at Wayfair are gorgeous!
I’ve also left a link to where I purchased my light fixture.
1. HIGH Dining Table – Ballard Design
2. LOW Dining Table – Wayfair
3. Great price! Rug – West Elm
5. LOW Side table – World Market
6. Chair (slipcovered) – Wayfair
9. HIGH Side table – Restoration Hardware
10. Light fixture – Katie’s Light House (blue & buttermilk)
Make sure to pin it for later!
All of those are so pretty!! Love ’em
Thanks Shawnna 😉
Your dining room is gorgeous Jamie! Thanks for the links too, that Ballard Design cabinet is amazing.
Thanks so much, April!!

Hi Jamie,
You have such great style, I think it is so important to build a ‘home’ when your kids are young. My mom had 4 kids, and didn’t work outside the home She always seemed to add such beautiful pieces, one at a time, to our house, and later, when I would visit and bring my own children, I would look around and realize that everything she had collected was just perfect to her style, but was never included just as a ‘piece’, do you know what I mean? She added it because it would find a place in her home and heart. Your house seems a lot like that. Great post, thanks for all the ideas/links on where to find some of these items. xx Nancy
Thanks Nancy, you’re so sweet and write the nicest comments. I truly appreciate that.

Beautiful as always, Jamie! I always melt a little over your buffet. Thank you so much for stopping in to share it at our little link party. It always means so much to have you there. 🙂
I wouldn’t miss it! Thanks Lauren 😉

It is hard to give the shopping list of a room when you mix old and new. I think I really frustrate people with the, “Oh I bought it off Craigslist!” answer over and over again. And it does take a long time to put it all together. Your room looks fantastic though! And that rug from West Lem is amazing!
I know, it’s so hard, isn’t it? A collected room can never be purchased online but that’s the best part, right? Thanks Kyla!
