Come visit my French vintage summer tour along with lots of summer inspiration from lots of blogger friends!

Single roses in vases / French Vintage Summer Tour and Simple Basket Centrepiece - So Much Better With Age

I decorated my home for summer and I can’t wait to share it with you. I always think simple for summer (and with flowers) is best, don’t you? When the house is clean and there are flowers around, you just want to invite friends over.

Speaking of friends, I’m taking part in of a week long summer tour event hosted by my friend Nina of Nina Hendrick Design so be sure to see all the beautiful summer tours at the end of this post.

Pink roses in clear vases singular on the wooden mantel.

There’s just something so light and airy to a single pink rose in a vase. Put all together side by side and the beauty in amplified.

I also have a set of these beautiful cards and matching envelopes (4 in total) that you can download for free!

A gold oval mirror above the wooden shelf.

The wooden vases don’t hold water so at the end of the day I pop those roses into the the vases that have water.

In the kitchen I added fresh pink peonies to a sap bucket. A French market bag/basket on display is the the perfect summer touch.

A basket is on the counter with pink peonies in it.

There is a woven carrying bag beside the peonies.

I freshened up the open shelving in the kitchen with green decor and succulents. Succulents are great to keep in your house for summer if you are away because the need little attention.

Green glasses sit on a white shelf in the kitchen.

Some more fresh flowers and some light feminine throw pillows in the living room brightens the whole room up.

Two neutral armchairs are in the living room.
There is a wooden side table with a dough bowl on it.
Dried flowers and wooden beads are in the dough bowl.

The patio is decorated quite simply and I recently gave it a makeover with painted patio stripes on this concrete slab.

The outside table with a wooden caddy on it filled with lavender.

I also have a great tip for filling large outdoor planters!

I hope you enjoyed this French vintage summer tour today. Be sure to see my friends’ summer homes below.

Make sure to pin it for later!
