My French Vintage dining room is all decorated for Christmas with evergreen, banners, brass candle holders and pinecones. Check out the big tour today!
Today I’m participating in the Styled + Set Holiday Entertaining tour hosted by my friend Lory of Designthusiasm. The tour will run all week so be sure to check back for all the daily tours! If you’re coming over here from Jennifer of Celebrating Everyday Life, welcome! If you are new to my blog then I’ll quickly introduce myself. I’m Jamie and I live in Vancouver, BC Canada and love all things French and vintage. In fact, I’m currently writing a book with 70 French Vintage DIY tutorials that is due out June 2018.
Last year’s Christmas tour was just featured in this months’ Cottage & Bungalows (a 14-page spread!) and you check it out here.
This year I decided to use more natural greenery as you can see.
I have little ‘Merry Christmas’ banners all over my tree that I cut from a long ribbon and wanted to replicate that with a large banner over the mirror and little ones on wreaths on the backs of the chairs.
The French wicker jug I made the centrepiece with sprigs of eucalyptus and cedar branches clipped from my backyard.
I added more cedar branches along the middle of the table like a table runner with glittered bells and pinecones.

I love these plate chargers, they are faux cedar chargers! I paired creamy-white plates with linen napkins that I made and I used mini grapevine wreaths for a napkin holder with a spring of eucalyptus.
I just love how the little banners turned out. They each say Joyeux Noel and I also made the little wreaths as well.
I can’t wait to show you how I made them this week!
My collection of brass candlesticks look lovely against more cedar branches and the banner with the French gold mirror.
I love how natural, rustic and French my dining room looks this year.
I hope you enjoyed the tour. Now be sure to visit Heather from Setting for Four.
