Thank you! I know, long living rooms are hard to decorate. The rug is an odd shape, 8×11.

Mine is basically the same layout but with a sliding glass door where your window is, and it’s wider, but not enough to have furniture facing the couch. My couch is also against the wall. It’s complicated to choose a rug for and 10×14 is a huge purchase. May I ask what size your rug is? It’s a solution I haven’t seen yet except on your blog and it’s very helpful!
