Here is a sneak peek of some of the bedding that has arrived from Restoration Hardware! I even had it monogrammed!!! Good lord, those ultrasounds better be correct!
I made the bedskirt. I also made the bedskirt for our master bedroom and had lots of leftover linen fabric. I set the extra linen fabric aside hoping to make a bedskirt for the baby’s room (hoping it was a girl, I mean). I didn’t take any photos of how I made it but I might write about it one day. It was a bit difficult but I love the results.
Because of the pink walls I opted for more white and ivory bedding (bedskirt and bumper pad) with pink blankets and sheets. And don’t worry, I’ll remove the bumper pad when baby goes in the crib. I’ll put it back in when she’s around 6 months like I did with my son.
The nursery is looking pretty! My son is just excited and he always wants to help out.
The other day he helped me put the baby’s crib together. I bought a brand new one as our lil monkey is still in his crib!
Yes, he’s almost 3 but he’s never climbed out and with the new baby on the way I thought he should get comfortable with new baby first before we switch him to a big boy bed.
And yes, my hubby should be doing this kind of work but he’s been so busy with Christmas parties, etc. and I’m impatient.
Today he was off skiing so I had a little helper put the crib together with me.
He even tested it out after to make sure it was reeaal sturdy!
We’re all ready for you baby!
