I’m creating a new series on my blog and YouTube channel called Best Life Basics: Overcoming Adversity and Creating a Better Life. I’ll be sharing personal stories of my life along with bits of advice to help you.
I’ve gone through many things in my life, more than maybe some people go through in an entire lifetime. I’m starting a new series where I share personal life stories and give general tips that can help you create a better life.
Maybe you grew up in dysfunction or are starting your life over.
Maybe you feel lost and don’t know where you are heading.
Maybe you feel embarrassed and don’t want to talk about things that have happened in your past.
This series is about what I wish was out there for me when I needed it.
I’m not a therapist by any means and don’t intend to be one. I’ve seen many therapists (good ones and bad ones) throughout my early 20s until now (early 40s) and have tried all sorts of different therapies and have always read self-help books. Changing your life for the better is possible even if it’s just minor tweaks in our thinking.
This video was the most terrifying and awkward thing I’ve done on my blog. I recorded and recorded videos on three different days and it’s still not ‘perfect’.
But I don’t want perfect anymore. I just want to be myself and if it helps anyone, then I’m grateful.
