Fall Kitchen Tour

I am excited to share with you beautiful pictures of my fall inspired kitchen tour.

Fall Kitchen Tour - So Much Better With Age

It’s amazing that you are seeing beautiful photos of my fall kitchen tour right now. I had a garage sale on the weekend trying to purge unwanted items from my home but some things are still everywhere in my house and it’s a complete disaster. One of these days I am going to post about what my house looks like messy because it really is night and day!

I’m sure it will also help make you feel better that even bloggers’ homes aren’t perfect all the time. But right now my kitchen is clean and styled ready for fall.

Let’s enjoy my fall kitchen tour. Thank you so much, Brenda from Cozy Little House, for inviting me! Be sure to check out the other fabulous tours at the end of this post.

White pumpkins decorate the whate kitchen counters.

Taking the purple and green hues from my fall living room and dining room tours, I carried it on in the kitchen. It’s amazing how many beautiful florals and plants you can buy in fall that are purple and that beautiful sage green.

Here are bunches of seeded eucalyptus, a kale plant and pumpkins.

There is a basket on the floor near the oven.
White subway tile and a wooden breadboard is in the kitchen.
White pumpkins on the counter in a dough bowl.

Because there is so much greenery from my backyard through the large windows, I keep bringing green elements into my white kitchen.

Here are the heirloom pumpkins I painted recently. Perfect to match the green decor.

There are large windows looking outside to the back yard.

I added little grapevine ‘crowns’ to the heirloom pumpkins. I’m absolutely loving the kale purple and green florals.

I snuck in a few shots of my living room as I recently got a new grey slipcover from Pottery Barn for my new couch.

It also gave me an excuse to practice my floral arranging from the workshop I took recently.

  1. So pretty! I love your kitchen and all of your fall touches. And that new gray slipcover on your couch… and that floral centerpiece you made…stunning! Thanks for sharing… ~julie

  2. Love your kitchen, Jamie! I’ve always told gardening readers to add purples and blues to their gardens for a more sedate feel. I love that you now have your very own home, and you seem so at peace. Sometimes we have to cross a bridge to get to our peaceful place. Your home is stunning!

    1. Thank you so much, Brenda! I love those colors too. And yes it’s finally peaceful now.
Thanks for all your care & concern.
      Hugs, Jamie

  3. Ok, I am absolutely in love with your kitchen!! How stunning – I must pin for my ‘future kitchen’ board….sigh, someday!! It’s classic, elegant, simple, clean – you have my dream counters (I used them in my master bath reno and adore them!)

But, alas, today is not that day. My kitchen reno is in the distant future.

Loving your new slipcover, also – what a great shade of grey, and it’s lovely with the ivory accents!

    Happy Fall 🙂

  4. Lovely tour of your clean and bright kitchen, Jamie. Yes, I hope our readers realize our homes don’t look like they do in photos all the time.

  5. Love your kitchen! Can I ask what kind of window covering is on the windows? It looks like it totally disappears when raised. Thanks!

    1. Yes, they are roller blinds. I picked out a linen type looking roller blind and they are a bit transparent to let in light but are completely private.
      Hope that helps!
      Hugs, Jamie

  6. How blessed you are to have a lovely kitchen that’s bathed in sunlight! It certainly takes to drag out of cooking—at least for me anyway. Great idea to bring in a kale plant for color. It never occurred to me. Thanks so much for sharing your talents.

  7. Greetings from southern Ontario, Jamie! I LOVE your kitchen and the little bit I saw of your living room. It is all very calm and soothing and your kitchen has just enough decor items in it without being too crowded! I see some kitchens in the various blogs and I just wonder how they ever, ever cook in them! Simply beautiful and I’m happy I found your blog.

  8. Good Morning, Jamie! I’m back again to say I must need new glasses or something as I completely missed your gorgeous Dough Bowl!! That’s a beauty! May I ask where you got it? I saw one years ago when we lived up in the Muskoka area of Ontario but it was almost $200 and I just couldn’t pay that kind of money at the time. I’ve never seen one since and kick myself that I walked away from that bowl. I can’t wait to see how you decorate for Christmas; I just love your serene and calming style!

    1. Sorry for the delay, Elaine. I know, dough bowls are pricey! You can buy them on Pottery Barn I’ve noticed or you can find them at antique shops but I’ve mostly noticed them online. I honestly can’t remember where I got mine now it’s been a long time. I think you can also search Etsy and Ebay.
      Hugs, Jamie

  9. I’m so thrilled I came across your blog. I’m really enjoying catching up on your posts. I love the thick white shelves w/brackets that you have in your kitchen. Would you please let me know where they were purchased please.
