Home Style Saturdays

Did you know I finished my book??? I handed in my manuscript on Wednesday (one day late!) and it feels so good to have the bulk of it done! I ended up getting 71 projects done for it. I wrote most of the tutorials in draft as I did them so I thought it wouldn’t take me that long to finish up writing the book but man, did I underestimate that! I was up till 1 or 2 am most nights for a week just getting it done. I sat at my computer for hours at a time and only got up to get the kids to school, picked up from school, fed and put to bed lol.

The next step is the process of editing (ugh) and I’ve edited and handed in some photos but I have until the end of November to get all the photos done.

This weekend the only thing on the agenda is purging and cleaning my house! After three months of focusing on projects, it’s been sadly neglected. It’s going to feel good to purge before the Christmas decor comes out. What is on your agenda this weekend?

Let’s see what my fabulous blogger friends have been up to.
