Thanks so heartbreaking that your crocks have cracked! Is there any way you can put them up on some wood so they don’t crack? Did you know that Medalta is still around? They are a Canadian crock company. You could always contact them to find the best way to store them.

I have two 10 gallon Crocks that cracked. I keep them in the cellar but up off the concrete floor. Anyone know the best way to store them to keep from cracking?

They are now unique end tables in my living room. The neutral clay color is pretty with my leather furniture. The glass tops add a modern touch to the vintage crocks; a look I really love a lot. I also use a 10 gallon crock as a hamper in the laundry room. Five gallon covered crocks are great for storing baking supplies or any other pantry staples.
