Mother’s Day Tea Party
A French vintage inspired Mother’s Day tea party is a great way to celebrate mom.
With Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, I thought it would be fun to have a tea party with my daughter.
I love tea parties! I usually try to make plans for high tea with my girlfriends every couple of months or so. It’s the perfect excuse to chat and catch up as high tea is usually two hours and there’s plenty of scones with Devonshire cream and jam and mini cucumber sandwiches to eat.
I love pink and green together, it’s so girly. My daughter’s nursery is all pink and green.
I’ll show you how I made the perfect little setting for a Mother’s Day tea party or any spring party.
First, I started with the scrap fabric garland I made for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party. There was no way I was getting rid of it after the party. I was dying to use it again.
To add green to the pink, I added this Balsam Hill Fraser Fir Meadow wreath.
I love being able to repurpose items throughout the year and using a green Christmas wreath is no exception!
I love the greenery against this backdrop.
Then I added these mossy heart gift tags to the garland. It just adds a sweet little touch to it, don’t you think?
A Mother’s Day isn’t complete without a gift for mom. Isn’t this pillow adorable?
And I love these French fabric coasters.
This Eiffel tower artwork with bokeh lighting and flowers is so dreamy.
My bestie Tanis gave me these faux peonies a couple of years ago. I love them in this old green sap bucket.
It’s the perfect setting for tea for two!
It’s going to be the best Mother’s day!
Here are some of the items I used in my tea party which I purchased through the following gorgeous Etsy shops.
Mom pillow – Cover Love
Moss heart gift tags – Abby’s Paperie Garden
French drop cloth coasters – Tattered Goods
Eiffel tower artwork – Chelsea Victoria
Disclosure: Balsam Hill provide me with their Meadow wreath and an Etsy gift card. All opinions are 100% my own.
