My Gallery Wall + Giveaway!

My Gallery Wall

I realized the other day I’ve never shown you my gallery wall.

It’s a collection of wedding photos and family photos.

I randomly added these frames in no particular order, with no planning out the wall ahead of time.

I just hit a nail in the wall, hung one frame in the middle then started to add the rest all around it.

I purchased the S through RH years ago and still love it.

The wall keeps growing as I add more frames to it so sometimes there’s a bit of juggling but that’s why I like the random pattern.

The gallery wall is in our upstairs hallway overlooking our two-storey foyer.

My plan is to paint the staircase railings some time this year. I’m really not looking forward to actually painting it but can’t wait for it to be white!

I purchased all my black frames through Pottery Barn.

Recently I added this beautiful wooden sign from Signs by Andrea.

I love the rustic-ness of it. I got me and my hubby’s initials put on it plus the year we met and fell in love.

You can see near the end to the left that there is still space for more frames and I might even extend it right up to the ceiling. We’ll see.

I also recently purchased new hallway lights from Pottery Barn too.

I love how the rustic sign fit perfectly over our wedding photo.

  1. I love your gallery wall! I have been working on one for my upstairs hall too so one of those signs would be awesome! I have also been putting off painting the railings on my stairs but I know it is such a HUGE project! Enjoy your week!

  2. First of all, I loooove your blog. Second, you just answered my question of how of how black frames with black and white photos AND colored photos would look. I’ll be copying your idea ASAP! HAHAHA!! Thanks for sharing, my wall says, thank you, as well!! 🙂

    1. Thanks so much! Absolutely you can put color and b&w photos together on a gallery wall. I think the same black frames help unify it together. You can tell your wall, you’re welcome 😉

    1. Hi Pauline,
I bought it at Restoration Hardware a few years back. I’m not sure if they still sell them. You could also try their other site, RH Baby & Child.
