My New Office Space

I feel like this should be an ad for a few places, Ikea for one and maybe for an art gallery 😉

In my pied-a-terre I don’t have a designated office space so I turned my dining room into an office.

I also hit a major sale at Ikea this summer and scored some great deals.

Even living in a rental apartment while on the hunt for a house, I’m a firm believer in making your ‘home’ beautiful no matter where you are and for how long.

Let’s give you the sweet little tour.

I really like this desk I found at Ikea. It could be used as a table or a desk. The table top was $17!! SEVENTEEN DOLLARS!

The trestle legs were around $30 each I think. They were on sale and I had a $50 off coupon so this new space was quite economical.

I also received that print ‘You Are a Whole Lot of Lovely’ from Gemma at The Sweetest Digs.

The other two prints were from a local shop here called The Scoop.

I also got this little gem from Gemma (haha!). How cool is this pencil case?

Glitter on the back!  Jenna, you would love this!

This bookshelf is great for storing office supplies and showing off decor items.

I think I might even add some bar items later since it’s right next to the kitchen.

My French painted mason jars and stencilled cash box fit nicely on this bookshelf too.

LOVE this print from The Sweetest Digs.

It could also read, “I may be only 5’3″ but don’t mess with me”, haha.

So all in all I’m very happy with how my new little pied-à-terre is coming along.

An office space is essential so it makes much more sense to use this space like this for now.

What do you think?
