Simple, Clean and White Kids’ Bathroom Reveal

How I transformed my children’s bathroom into a simple, clean and white space.

I’m sharing with you today my kids’ bathroom. I love the simple, clean and white design that is perfect for function and practicality.

The details with my house are French and vintage, of course, but I felt like the kids needed their own fun space as this room was all theirs.

Let me give you the complete bathroom tour.

A clean and white bathroom with a whale rug.

The bathroom was very typical of a 1989 built house. Nothing special here.

Typical tub and tile.

As you can see the room was gutted and everything was replaced including the trim and door.

The whale theme is a cute touch that is fun for the kids but not too crazy for mom.

My daughter wanted pink so we added some soft pink towels.

I love this custom built bathroom vanity. I needed more storage so the bottom drawer was a great idea.

Basketweave tile is in the bathroom.

The same quartz in my kitchen is also used in the bathrooms. The faucet and hardware are all from Delta Canada, their Trinsic line.

I picked this beautiful basketweave tile as it adds a small vintage element to the room.

I love this shower head as the middle pops out for easy an easy spray down of the tub after bath time.

The best part is the kids really love it and with this clean and simple design I want to keep it clean.

      1. Adorable space. The link for the whale rug and curtain no longer works. I see the post is several years old. Do you remember where you got them?

  1. Why did you choose to half tile the walls? I’m torn between fully tiling all four walls and doing something similar to your design. Any advice? Thank you!

    1. Hi Ally,
Sorry for the long delay! It’s really hard to know where to stop when it comes to tiling a wall. I wanted the tile to extend from the shower to the vanity/sink backsplash. And I also wanted behind the toilet to be tiled because…well..boys! So that’s why I chose to do it like that. There just needs to be a goal in mind for tiling or else it’s the entire wall! Which I chose not to do for this bathroom.
Hope this helps, although you’re probably already done tiling by now.
      Hugs, Jamie
