Top 10 Posts of 2017
My Top 10 Posts of 2017 is here! Be sure to visit all my blogger friends on this tour.
Goodbye 2017 and welcome 2018! Another year has come and gone and just as last year, I’m participating in Top 10 Posts of 2017 that my friend Cami from Tidbits has organized.
So much has happened this year that it has felt that it has flown by. I received an email from a publishing company in the spring and by the summer I was writing a book! I just finished up the editing and it will be going to print soon!! It will be published in June 2018 so I’ll be sure to post more about it and details on where to buy it.
I was featured on CBC, HGTV.ca and Canadian Living’s websites this year. A few of my projects were published in two Country Sampler Magazine issues had my home was featured in Cottages & Bungalows. You can see the features by clicking HERE. It’s been a great year!
It’s fun to look back on the blog and see what top posts you enjoyed the most as the more times a post was clicked determines what makes it a top post. Sometimes the ones I spend the most time at do not make this list at all and sometimes the list has me scratching my head, haha. Starting at number 10, let’s count down to see what are my 10 Top Posts of 2017!

The Best Tip for Filling Large Outdoor Planters
Man, I threw this post together in the rain! I’m so glad you liked it! Shauna had an outdoor series and it would not stop raining so I was planting these flowers in the rain. The photos weren’t the best because of it but it shows it that sometimes just the tip is all that’s needed!
Number 3
At the very beginning of 2017 I shared all the before and after photos of my big kitchen renovation. I’m glad to know my readers are kitchen obsessed as much as I am!!

The Ultimate Guide to DIY Antique Mirrors
I could antique every mirror I see! I’ve been antiquing mirrors for years (hey that rhymes!) and have done everything to screw them up so I know what to do and what NOT to do. I have more projects with mirrors in store for 2018 too and there are some coming out in my book!

Love these, but when I click through to see the stenciled bathroom wall post, it takes me to the photos in France. Can you help?

Jamie, interesting to see what your top posts are & this is the first time I’ve been here, but it’s fun to see what people are interested in. Your photos are gorgeous! Magazine worthy! Love the French photos. The camping post looks interesting b/c I camp too. Must be a lot of people camping out there. All your other posts are also interesting & well-done. Visiting from Sweet Inspiration.
You’re too kind! Thank you, Florence!
