I came across your tutorial while searching pics of armoires. I have a similar armoire that I pulled from my basement coal room. I turned it into a living room coat rack. It does look like Cowhide, but in such a very cool, chippy way. Don’t you just love the character that kids add to furniture! I told my husband when my twins were two, we would be lucky if the house was still standing by the time they graduated. They are in 8th grade now, and the roof is still on, but the walls and everything else has taken a lot of love! Good thing for DIY girls, we can fix it up!
