Praline Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour

To roll balls into:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter on medium to high speed for about 2 min, stopping halfway to scrape the sides of the bowl.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined. Beat for another 2 min.
  • Stir or beat in dry ingredients just until combined.
  • In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together. Roll into small balls (about 1 1/2 inches) and roll in the sugar mixture. Place balls 2 inches apart on parchment paper or silicone sheet lined cookie sheets.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, until edges are slightly brown. Cool on baking sheets for a couple of minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
