Praline Snickerdoodles
The perfect holiday cookie!
Servings: 36 cookies

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup toffee pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
To roll balls into:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
In a large bowl, beat butter on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Beat in sugars, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Beat until combined, scraping the bowl occasionally.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined.
Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in remaining flour.
Stir in toffee pieces and pecans. Chill for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together. Shape dough in 1 1/4 inch balls and roll in the sugar mixture. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are slightly brown. Transfer to a wire rack. Cool completely.
