Home Style Saturday No. 95
Happy Saturday everyone! We are back from our two week camp trip and we had an amazing time. Camping is so much work but I feel it’s so important for the kids. They get to ride their bikes all around the campground, buy ice cream from the shop on their own, meet new friends on their own, so many things that they don’t have the freedom to do in our neighbourhood. They get to just be kids! We had lakeside campsite at our last spot in Kaleden (just outside Penticton in the Okanagan) for a week and they could just go into the lake whenever they wanted (which was multiple times a day) without us having to lug stuff down to the beach. It was awesome. We could be BBQing dinner or just relaxing while they were in the lake. There’s nothing better.
We rented a sea-doo one day and a boat another day. We had the best summer vacation ever. Such good memories! And renting an RV trailer was fantastic. I’ll be sharing more about RV-ing next week!
Now let’s see what my talented friends have been up to this week.

I am so glad you had a grand time camping! It is so good for the kids. I have not been camping in many, many years. xo Diana
So great for the kids, Diana. Lots of work for mom but so awesome for the kids.
