I love decorating for fall and today I’m sharing with you my how I decorated my mantel for fall with pressed and fresh fall leaves.

Fall decorating with pressed and fresh leaves
Although most of the leaves in my backyard are still quite green, I was able to find a bunch that had just fallen. I picked them up and pressed them into these gold and glass frames on a piece of card stock.
You can find the free pressed leaves printables here.

I found these frames at Home Sense and I also have some from Anthropologie on the other side of my living room.
I used a French demijohn that I found at a thrift store years ago to display fresh maple leaves from my backyard.

I’m really loving simple and organic fall touches this year. It’s very similar to my fall mantel last year with fall leaves in cloches.
If you don’t have fall leaves in your area, I took photos of and made them into printables! You can download them for free by clicking here.

I love it Jamie! I usually need symmetry but this looks so perfectly balanced and sophisticated.
Thanks Jenn! I agree, I like symmetry too but the frames just wouldn’t work that way 😉

So pretty! How did you get the whitewashed, distressed look on your dining room furniture? I am dying to do something with ours, but wasn’t sure what to do. Yours looks great! Thanks!
Thanks Linda! I bought the table like that but I did something similar to my antique armoire. I sanded it down to natural wood then used white furniture wax over it: https://somuchbetterwithage.com/decide-whether-not-give-antique-furniture-makeover/ Hope this helps!

This is so beautiful Jamie! I love the vintage wicker jug and the natural greenery. Happy fall, friend!
