Scandinavian Style Christmas Table
I’m sharing my Christmas table setting set up in two looks, Scandinavian style.

I love decorating for the holidays and it’s been fun to see how I’ve decorated this dining room over the years (see the photo at the end of the post with four years side by side!). This year I wanted to decorate my dining room in Scandinavian style and I made two looks. I’m so happy with the way it turned out.

My first look is a simple white table runner with evergreen clippings. If you don’t have evergreen trees in your backyard to snip, most grocery stores or florists carry bunches this time of year (or where they sell Christmas trees).
Pop a sprig on a napkin for a touch of greenery. It smells so fragrant.

A wooden charger makes the perfect place to add a bunch of candles. Nothing says hygge like lots and lots of candles.

Green placemats and gold flatware is the perfect compliment to this simple table setting.

SEcond look
Having an advent calendar for this kids was high on my priority list this year. I usually just buy one of the prepackaged ones with chocolate and this year I wanted one that we can reuse every year. I share on Instagram stories the chocolates I put in them and how there’s a light in the back of this one.

The red linen tablecloth really sets the scene with this look.

The driftwood Christmas tree I’ve had for years and the large bottle brush trees and wreath I found at Home Sense. You might have noticed my ‘upcycle’ to this wreath on Instagram stories. I took off the other blue elements on this wreath and hot glued in a bunch of pinecones.
The collection of smaller bottle brush trees I added to the first shelf.

An ironstone plate holds a bunch of tall candles along with sprigs of cedar clippings and a line of more evergreen clippings make of up table runner in the centre of the table.
I love these new glasses, flatware, tablecloth, napkins and napkin rings I recently received from Simons.

I hope you enjoyed both of my Scandinavian style Christmas table settings this year.
