Fall Pumpkin and Ribbon Wreath

This pumpkin and ribbon fall wreath is perfect for an exterior or interior door this fall

While I was in the middle of painting all the foam pumpkins for my heirloom pumpkin tutorial, I painted some mini ones white as well.

At the time, I couldn’t find any white pumpkins in the stores and by the time these ones were painted they started to become available so I decided to make a fun fall DIY project with them. I thought a cute fall pumpkin wreath would be nice and I’m happy with how it turned out.

Let me show you how I made this fall pumpkin and ribbon wreath.

How to make the Fall wreath

Supplies:

• grapevine wreath
• large ribbon with wire
• mini plastic pumpkins (I found mine at Michael’s)
• creamy white paint (I used Fusion Mineral Paint Champlain)
• beige paint (I used Fusion Mineral Paint Algonquin)
• optional, moss-green paint
• small bunch of dried wheat or small fall flower
• flat twine
• hot glue gun
• elastic band

Directions:

1. First I painted the pumpkins with creamy white paint.
2. I painted the stems with beige paint and touches of green over it.

#1 Using a hot glue gun, pinch one end of the large ribbon and hot glue into place.

#2 Fluff up into a bit of a balloon-like shape, pinch and hot glue another part of the ribbon onto the wreath.

#3 Keep repeating until you have a good section of the wreath covered.

#4 Fill the middle parts of the balloon-like shapes with mini pumpkins, hot glueing into place.

#5 Put an elastic band around a bunch of dried flowers.

#6 Glue some flat twine/ribbon into place over the elastic. Hot glue the bunch onto the wreath.

Using extra twine ribbon, I hung the pretty wreath on a door.

I love these little white pumpkins and I think they made a great fall pumpkin and ribbon wreath, don’t you?
