Merry Christmas Banner
I put together this vintage looking Merry Christmas Banner and will share with you my tutorial!
I made this vintage inspired Merry banner last Christmas. It’s very easy to do but a bit messy!

Would you like to make your own? This is what you’ll need!
Supplies:
- burlap fabric
- glue or a stapler
- thick rope or twine
- white craft paint
- red craft paint
- 1 small foam brush
- 1 artist paintbrush
- scissors

Directions:
1. Cut pieces of burlap into triangles.
2. Glue or staple to thick rope. Yep, I just stapled mine to the rope. I folded over about an inch of burlap then stapled. Not very fancy but it does the trick. {I keep meaning to make a better one each Christmas but it has survived 3 Christmases now!}
3. Paint most of the triangle area with white paint (that’s the messy part). Make sure to paint over a drop cloth as the paint seeps through.
4. Once the white paint is dry, paint the word ‘merry’ freehand with red paint.

You definitely could make another banner saying Christmas but I like how it’s one simple word. It makes me smile when I see it. Rustic, vintage and simple.
Merry {Christmas}!
