Spring Dining Room with Greenery and Gold + Video

I decorated my dining room for spring with simple touches of gold and shades of green. Let me show you how.

Green has always been my favourite colour and adding natural greenery is such a great way to incorporate shades of green into any space. The touches of gold really add to the ambience in my spring dining room too.

Today I’m participating in a spring tablescape tour hosted by my friend Bre of Rooms for Rent. Be sure to visit all the beautiful inspiration at the end of this post.

Earlier this week I shared with you how to make these paint dipped pots and how I added soft touches of faux greenery to the mirror and cabinet.

I continued the green and gold theme to my dining table. I kept it simple on the table as there was already a lot going on around the cabinet.

The gold mirror is a project from my book, French Vintage Decor. I added wooden appliqués to a plain thrift store mirror.

(Did you spy the new plant in the corner of my dining room? Here’s hoping I don’t kill it!)

My plan was to sew a new table runner for my dining room table using the leftover green velvet fabric from my pillows and settee but I ran out of time. I just folded the fabric in half lengthwise to use a table runner!

I painted this old wooden toolbox with my Vintage Gold paint (my own paint in collaboration with Fusion Mineral Paint!) and added three green Ball mason jars with white roses.

I used gold chargers with cream plates and then used a mini grapevine wreath as a napkin holder.

I love these pretty vintage green napkins, don’t you? It’s easy to keep items you love when they are in your favorite color!

I hope my green and gold dining room has inspired you for spring! Thanks for touring with me today.

  2. I have been searching high and low for a table this color! I don’t see a link or grand. Can you tell me where you purchased it or the name of it! So pretty!!!!! Live it all!

    1. Hi Ashley,
I have the similar table listed under Shop My Dining Room near the bottom of my post. I bought it at a local shop years ago but it looks the exact same on Wayfair, the Lark Manor table. It looks like it’s out of stock right but I would check back.
      Hugs, Jamie
