Simple Spring Decor Ideas in the Kitchen + Video

Add some simple spring decor touches to your kitchen this season!

Simple Spring Decor Ideas with a stainless steel oven, and wooden cutting boards on the counter.

There’s nothing better than cleaning and decorating for spring. After going through so much purging and reorganizing in my house, it’s a welcome treat to tidy and welcome springtime in my kitchen with some simple spring decor touches.

Today I’m participating in a spring home tour hosted by my friend Krista of The Happy Housie. If you are coming over here from Shannon of Home Made Lovely, welcome!

Some of my simple spring decor items include this thrift store piece of framed art. Vintage landscape oil paintings and portraits are so big in decor right now. I’m so happy to have found this beautiful art piece.

The frame was very chippy and pieces of the frame were falling off so I painted a clear coat of polyurethane over it to keep the frame looking exactly as I found it. Distressed to add to the vintage charm.

Potted plants are on the kitchen counter beside the sink.
There is a metal basket filled with hard boiled eggs on the counter.
A small wooden tray holds the salt and pepper shakers, honey and a candle on the counter.

I love the color green and it’s so easy to add fresh subtle greens to the kitchen with plants and moss.

I found that vintage art piece in an antique market last year and it’s artwork from a local beach here in West Vancouver under the Lion’s Gate Bridge.

Kitchen shelves have green and clear galss on them with a picture of a bridge behind the shelf.
There is moss in a basket on the wooden cake stand.

Using a green vintage demijohn with some cotton stems adds simple yet impactful spring decor.

A large green vase is on the kitchen island with branches inside it.

And there’s nothing like putting fresh food (like fresh bread and eggs) on the counter. Don’t put it away when your guests come over 😉

There is freshly baked bread on the wooden cutting board with a serated knife beside it.
The vase and bread is on the white kitchen island.
