I’ve always loved the Beatrix Potter books and reading them to my kids. I also have the Royal Doulton china sets for them so I thought what a fun table setting to make with the books and china!

I recently shared with you the glass Easter jars with bunny ears and I’ll be incorporating them into the Peter Rabbit tablescape today.

I’m also participating the Styled + Set Holiday Entertaining Blog tour organized by my sweet friend Lory from Designthusiasm. If you’re popping by from Rachel from Maison de Pax, welcome! Be sure to get more Easter inspiration at the end of this post.

There were so many cute things to pull together that I had on hand and I grabbed a few more items from Home Sense to make this table come together.

First, I set this lilac coloured tablecloth on an angle on the table.

Next, I used another tablecloth in mint and folded it in half lengthwise and set it on top in the opposite direction.

I found these cute bunny placeholders at Target and the cute bunny plates from Home Sense (similar ones here). I laid those on the table. I decided to add circular placemats under the plates.

I used this nest-like charger as a base for this cloche.

And added the best element ever…some carrots of course!

I used some of my pastel china and added mini Beatrix Potter books to each one.

These little carrots and grapevine nests are from Michael’s (I found similar here and here). I added some fresh hydrangeas to the table and also scattered some wooden eggs.

Using the actual Peter Rabbit books was an easy element to add to the decor. I bought this box set when my son was just a baby. It makes such a beautiful keepsake!
