Pink and Green Summer Kitchen
Adding pink and green to my kitchen for summer is so pretty and an easy way to decorate this season.
Today I’m joining so many talented bloggers in Summer Colours blog tour hosted by Jennifer of Town and Country Living.
For a neutral loving girl like myself, this could be a difficult task. I do have a favorite color, fortunately, and that’s green (although my kids always say it must be white!). I also love pink flowers.
So pink and green in the kitchen is my favorite way to bring in color for summer.
I started by collecting different green coloured vessels around the house that could hold flowers. That’s not too hard to find since I love green.
This green sap bucket I’ve had for 20+ years and it’s has the best patina. I added a glass vase to the inside to hold the flowers in.
And added water to a French canning jar and a green bowl. I cut the stems of the peonies shorter (but not too short) for the jar and bowl and added 3 peonies each. The stems intertwine to hold them together.
I added my Summer Greenery Hoop Wreath to my range hood and removed the metal script word from the middle.
I can’t get over how bright these peonies are! I’ve toned down the vibrance and saturation in Lightroom (I swear I didn’t increase it!) and they are still so bright!

Look at how pink the subway tile is on the bottom part of this photo!
It’s amazing how much color flowers can add to a room. My whole kitchen is filled with so much color right now and I’m loving it. As long as there is plenty of green in the mix (okay, and white) I’m a happy camper.
PS: I got this adorable rug at Madeline Bee Home Store
and I bought the French market basket in France but you can find the same ones at Dreamy Whites.
Along with this amazing square French bar of soap.
Now be sure to check out what favorite colours my friends are decorating with this summer!
Make sure to pin it for later!

Your addition of gorgeous, lush, pink peonies with green accents just such “happy” to me. I like how you added 2 basic elements to your white kitchen: favorite color green + beautiful pink peonies. You have inspired me. Sometimes simple changes please me the most! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Jolene!
