Having sold our house in CA, we moved to Idaho this summer and now are adjusting to a rental house and a cold winter climate. I get my decorating inspiration from everywhere… I am always, ALWAYS observing,reading,drinking in what I see. Nature, blogs,magazines, books, tv shows, memories…it is all fair game in my hunt for inspiration. I thrive on that.
I find most of my ideas from the simplicity of nature as well as findings in my favourite blogs.
I so enjoy new books for inspiration. I have been updating out home of 28 years. Taking it from the dark 80″s to fresh and light , and French! I have been very busy painting the rooms. Well now to go paint my bedroom. LOL
Decorating books and blogs are some of my favorite escape and inspiration for new and beautiful ideas…
My inspiration comes from vintage magazines, thrift store finds, and Instagram.

You can never have too many decor books it’s my motto!
I believe inspiration comes from everything around you, but I do enjoy sitting down to read a great design book. My most recent books were “FRENCH Vintage Decor” and “French Country Cottage.” Both are amazing!! I usually read a decor book cover to cover before putting down.
