Rustic Apple Strudel

This rustic apple strudel recipe is so tasty and very easy to make. It doesn’t need to look perfect because it’s too delicious!

Everyone loves my apple pie recipe but this rustic apple strudel is a close second. It’s easy to make but looks fancy, in a rustic way. The pastry dough is more like a biscuit recipe than true pie pastry recipe so the taste is very rich and delicious.

I’m excited to be taking part in Tastes of the Season Holiday Recipe Series hosted by my friend Kirstin of Ella Claire Inspired. Today is all about delicious apple recipes and be sure to see all the wonderful apple recipes at the end of this post.

Rustic Apple Strudel

This apple strudel recipe doesn’t use a traditional pastry, it’s almost like a biscuit recipe wrapped around delicious cinnamon coated apples. Along with the glaze, this is just delicious!
