I’m excited to share this year’s Christmas tour with you. I love adding simple touches, not going over the top, but also incorporating vintage finds.
Cozy Living Room
The one item I bought new this year was two of these amazing garlands. They are overlapped in the middle and draped more to one side, held up with some Command Strips. I love how it looks!
I also love a low profile stocking holder and these are the perfect little stocking holders.

I have two sets of these vintage-looking bells and use them every year. They are just so Christmas-y, aren’t they? They also really work if you want to get everyone to come down for dinner ;).

I found this vintage oil painting at a vintage market this summer and just draped some wooden beads along it.

My largest crock sits beside the Christmas tree holding some wrapping paper, ready to wrap more presents.

This year I tied some velvet ribbon on the trees and I love this beautiful toast color.

I decided to bring out my Joyeux Noel banners that I made a number of years ago. I still love them.

ready for baking in the Kitchen
Me and my daughter love to bake each Christmas so we needed to get it ready first before there are cake stands full of cookies, butter tarts and of course cinnamon buns for Christmas morning.

I added another Joyeux Noel banner on the range hood and a simple Christmas tree in the corner on the counter. The best part about decorating in the kitchen for Christmas is that adding vintage items (like the champagne bucket) makes it feel Christmas-y even though it’s not a Christmas item.

My pottery collection also add a vintage feel to the holidays which I love. All that was needed was a velvet green ribbon and a small tree.

My favorite Christmas plates and mugs are no longer sold but there are some other nostalgic ones I’ve sourced below.

Pretty Powder Room
My powder room is all ready for Christmas but you can’t tell by the photo. I have cute hand towels with bows on them and a row of gold Santas on the window sill. It’s nice just to add a few touches in the bathroom that the guests will use over the holidays.

Festive Dining Room
I’ve changed it up a bit from previous years, normally I have a flocked Christmas tree in here but I sold my two flocked Christmas trees and got a new one for the living room and I put the kids’ small Christmas tree in the corner where it normally was in the basement.
My cat likes to lick the flocking off the tree so it was time to get a new one.
At first this tree seemed small but it’s actually small and quaint. The kids’ tree has all their handmade ornaments from over the years and so it’s very special to us. And as we are eating, we can really get a good view and some good conversation starters from viewing them.

A simple green evergreen centrepiece sits in the middle of the table long a French linen table runner with some pine cones and small vintage bells.

I attached the mini wreaths with mini banners on them that I made a number of years ago. I still love them so much!

I’m so glad you toured with me today. Do you have a favorite scene? Let me know in the comments below.
