Today is the big home tour where I’ll be sharing my living room Christmas tree and kitchen holiday decor.

I pared down my fireplace mantel from previous years with new faux cedar garland.
I found this cedar garland at Canadian Tire but this garland from Pier 1 looks similar. The new look is a nice change!
I love these large bells hanging on the wall just with a Command Hook.
I’ve had these same Eiffel tower globe ornaments for 5 years now and they are still my favorite.
I love having the holiday wrapping paper out and ready to wrap a gift in the evening. Ribbon on wooden spools look just as pretty as decor.
Here are the four ways I’ve decorated the living room for Christmas.
Kitchen
I paired down my decor in the kitchen too and went with natural elements like pine clippings and oranges in this large champagne bucket.
Nothing like fresh baking for a Christmas kitchen!
I love using vintage champagne buckets for floral arrangements and for these fragrant oranges.
I’ve edited the open shelves so that we have just our everyday cups and glasses and a few statement decor items.

I found the Christmas garland above the windows from a dollar store. I love the simplicity of them.

I love the cedar clippings and simple elegant touches.

Beautiful Christmas tour!!! I have a forty year home and I’m constantly fixing up little things here and there. I’d love to refinish some antique chairs in that deconstructed look to add some character☺️

The dilemma I have is adding modern touches to a home with antique, vintage pieces. These book would hopefully give lots of inspirations.

I’ve always loved a “fully decorated” look, however, this year, all of a sudden, I feel like there is just too much everywhere and I want a cleaner, less is more approach. I’m still gathering ideas on how to do this and love looking at books filled with ideas.

Not sure how to enter the contest but here’s the post comment! I love how your “look” changes but remains true to your love for the French look and feel, Jamie! I too am a lover of that style, the way that a few simple but beautiful items really up the ante. I have paired back too, in my store, C’est Cheese Please! I have a look that I call “In The Garden” with topiaries (Rosemary, lavender and that lovely pop of a Lemon Cyprus), a few bottle brush Christmas trees and white cyclamen and white mini poinsettias. Along with marble cheese boards and this gorgeous green throw, it looks quiet and festive but simple and could take one through the winter season whilst we dream of spring and the garden waking up! A new book to be inspired by through the wintery nights would be a lovely thing to look forward to the New Year too! I also love the prints and will download those, thank you so much!
