Christmas Nights Tour
Welcome to my beautiful Christmas nights tour!
Welcome to the Christmas Nights Tour! This is the first time I’ve taken night time photos and it was challenging but fun. Thank you so much, Rachel from Maison de Pax, for inviting me. She always does amazing Christmas night tours.
If you are coming over from Finding Silver Pennies, I’m so glad you’re here. If you haven’t seen Danielle’s beautiful tour, be sure to do so.
We’ll start off this tour with a rare glimpse of the exterior of my house and you can see it just snowed again!
It’s been rare to have chilly temperatures and snow here in Vancouver in December. We’re hoping it stays around for Christmas Day.
Here is my glittered and jewelled tree. I love how cozy my living room feels with the tree and holiday garland and candles.
My Christmas mantel looks so pretty at night with the twinkling lights.
I made these vintage stockings and have a free sewing pattern for you to download.
You can see my full Christmas dining room tour here.
I have a tutorial in the tour on how to recreate this dazzling snowy centrepiece at your home without messing up your table.
It’s so beautiful looking out at the snow from the table.
Thank you so much for being on this tour with me today. It was fun to try night time photography and I think I will do it every year.
Now be sure to continue the tour at Decor Gold Designs. I love Jennifer’s beautiful home and her impeccable style, you will not be disappointed!
Be sure to watch a short video on my snowy vintage Christmas decor!
Make sure to pin it for later!

Thanks honey
Jamie, it’s so fun seeing your home photographed at night, because I’ve admired you decor in your daylight posts. Everything looks just gorgeous!! You’ve really captured the warmth and sparkle that night time brings, especially in your stunning mantel! Wishing you the merriest Christmas!!
You’re so sweet, Lory! Thank you so much. I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your beautiful family this year.

Over on the Island, the snow is just about gone after last night’s rain. I guess no white Christmas for us. It is pretty!
Love your night pics. I think my favourite part is the sled with candles in front of the fireplace. It all looks magical and romantic.
Yes, it’s raining here now so probably no White Christmas for us 🙁 Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
Hugs, Jamie
Jamie, everything looks amazing! You did a phenomenal job photographing at night! It was my first time too, so I know how challenging it can be. You are incredibly talented my friend! I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much, Jennifer! Happy holidays to you and your family too.

Jamie, I love all of the warm glows from the lights and the candles! It’s so silvery, festive, yet intimate. Thanks for sharing on the tour!

Thank you for the stocking pattern. I had leftover dropcloth fabric from curtains I made for my daughter and used that for the stockings after I taped them off and painted varied width red stripes along the top to look like vintage grain sacks. Then I made and painted matching fabric gift bags that I put things in and tied up with red ribbon. They are in a small red wagon on my hearth with some pine and it all looks so nice. A larger one holds a container and a small artificial tree. I even ripped 2 inch strips of fabric, painted stripes and made ribbon. I appreciate the pattern and tutorial very much. Merry Christmas to you and to your family.
Kathe! This sounds amazing. I love your creativity. So glad you used my stocking pattern. Merry Christmas.

Your home is stunning! Love the candles on the little sled and of course your fantastic table – what time shall I come for dinner (I’ll bring wine)!
Thanks so much, Kelly! You can come over anytime and bring wine xo
