Fall Home Tour 2014

I am inviting you into my house for a fall home tour!

I was thrilled when Sonya and Melissa invited me to be a part of their big Fall Home Tours 2014. Of course I said yes!

It gives me a chance to take out the spring and summer items off my bookshelves and get into the fall season.

Otherwise, those seashells and birds’ nests would stay there all year long.

I have home decor items saved for our rustic industrial cabin in the woods that I brought out for this tour.

If you like photos, I have plenty. Grab your cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the tour and be sure to check out all the other tours at the end of this post 😉

Welcome to fall in the living room.

Those two architectural squares on the wall go great with this rustic mantel. They seem to go with everything I put up there.

A whitewashed fireplace with a mirror on the mantel and antlers on the mirror.

Don’t you love these pumpkins? It wasn’t my goal to find the most contorted pumpkins ever but I love the faded colors.

A white ottoman with a black tray on it and pumpkins on the tray.

I’m in love with my new deer head. It’s chippy painted iron and looks adorable on my mantel.

There is a wicker basket in front of the fireplace with a throw blanket in it.

This fireplace is non-working so please don’t worry about the flammable basket and blanket.

A wire tired basket is beside the wicker basket and has small pumpkins in it.

Hello again, contorted pale green pumpkin.

There is small branches with berries on the mantel with vases beside it.
Open white shelves beside the fireplace with magazines on them.

This rustic mirror is a new find. I found it at a local shop for a steal because there’s a crack right down the middle of the mirror.

Fine by me, for $50. I’ll be getting the mirror replaced shortly.

There are books and wire baskets on the shelves beside the fireplace.

I love this three-tiered wire basket I scored from Antique Farmhouse.

The wire basket filled with orange and white pumpkins.

Okay, few more sneak peeks of my kitchen! I swear to god I’ll show you the whole kitchen soon.

A white kitchen with a mixer on the counter and white flowers in a glass vase on the butcher block.

This apron sink makes doing dishes a dream.

My chalk paint pumpkins still look great.

The newly painted staircase makes the whole foyer so light and bright. Love it.

There is a rustic wooden mirror above the small bench in the hallway.

My burlap and toile pumpkin looks great on this bench too.

  3. Jamie, I just love the square basket in front of the fire, I have a penchant for baskets myself and have them littered all over the house. Plus the ottoman – its beautiful!
