Christmas in My Newly Renovated Kitchen
Today I am revealing my newly renovated kitchen all decorated for Christmas!

It’s Christmas in my kitchen and today I’m revealing new beautiful details in my completed renovated kitchen!
Earlier this year we did a whole kitchen renovation. I’ve shown snippets of here and there but never the full reveal.

When we bought the house, it was pretty dated and so was the kitchen. I painted the cupboards and did a lot of simple updating but I was dying for a large kitchen island.
We couldn’t have one in this space so I extended the countertop to look like a large island.

Here’s the beautiful newly tiled white wall. Best decision ever!

Best photo shoot spot ever! Here’s my Vintage Vertical Christmas Garland again.

After the kitchen was renovated, our old dining table and chairs didn’t fit in our eating area as the countertop was extended to the window. We bought a new chairs and table from Restoration Hardware and the old set went up to the not-so-rustic cabin.

The space looks so open and bright now. I just love all the white with dark rustic touches. It also goes with my Industrial Beachy French style.

I think the white farmhouse sink and bridge faucet are my fave part of the kitchen.

We shortened the countertop on the opposite side to have more built-in storage and to house the microwave.

Would you like a homemade sugar cookie?

Okay, I also love my new Sub-Zero fridge. We took out a bulk-head that used to be above the old cabinets so it gave us more height in the kitchen.

I made this simple ‘Merry Christmas’ garland using these metal and kraft tags.

And just for fun, here are a few photos of the OLD kitchen!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you have a wonderful time with your family and friends.

Hi Jamie, I love your kitchen. Love that light fixture above the table, and the wall tile is perfect. My favorite is the look of the glass fronted cabinets. You’ve done a beautiful job, you must be so happy that it’s done and functional. A great place to Play! Kitchens are such a big part of our lives, we spend so much time there (mostly by choice), so it is wonderful to be able to create a space that is welcoming. Hope you have a good final few days of 2014 puttering around in it! xx Nancy
Thanks for your sweet comment, Nancy. I love my new kitchen. So many more functional parts to it!
Hugs, Jamie
SO gorgeous Jamie! And the new tile into the dining room is perfection!
Thank you so much, Sarah! So glad I did it 😉

Jamie – I agree, your kitchen is beautiful! Would you mind sharing where you purchased the knobs and pulls for your cabinet doors and drawers? Thanks!
I would love to know too! (About knobs and pulls).
Yes please, knobs and pulls are from????
Found your Source List, they are Lee Valley! thx
We just got the round version of that table for our dining room (for a STEAL at the outlet! I was practically hyperventilating when I found it.) Absolutely love RH, and love how you’ve designed this gorgeous space.
Aww thanks Amye Mae. I know, I LOVE RH. And I love that table. I didn’t know they had a circular one. I’m sure it’s gorgeous!
Big hugs, Jamie

Love your kitchen! I’ve been searching your website, but can’t find a source list. Would you please share the details for your countertops? I need to replace mine and this is the look I’m searching for including the edge detail. Pinning this for future reference.:)
Thanks so much, Dee! Yes! I need to do a source list! This is the first post I’ve done with my new kitchen so I have yet to get all my sources together. As soon as I find the countertops, I’ll message you here.
Hugs, Jamie
Love the light look and the subway tile. I wish I could have it in my kitchen but my husband is stuck in the kitchen dark ages, lol. Oh well, at least I can look at pretty pictures like yours!
the dark ages, haha. Yes, my hubby is like that with a lot of things too. Thanks Rachel!
Hugs, Jamie
Love the kitchen!! The cup holder on the counter..Where can I find it?? Sure would save cupboard space.
Thanks Evie! I found that at a local shop but I know Decor Steals/Antique Farmhouse carry it sometimes during daily sales.
Jamie

I found you over at Inspire Me Monday! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I love every single detail. Subway tile is my favorite to use, and you did such a wonderful job with the use of it. I like the color of grout you used, is it grey or a shade of brown? I am pinning this and sharing over at FB and G+. I am so happy to have discovered So Much Better With Age!
I’m soooo IN LOVE with your kitchen Jamie!! LOVE the tiled walls!! Sébastien and I are actually planning on doing that in our bathroom. How long did it take to tile?
Thank you SO MUCH, Christine! The tiled walls took our guy one day to do. We didn’t do it..or else it would take us forever. The walls in our house are very uneven.
Hugs, Jamie
Absolutely stunning Jamie! Love white kitchens and yours is gorgeous! Love all the tile! Thanks for sharing with us at Your Turn To Shine!
Thanks so much, Kendra!

You never cease to amaze me with your decorating talents! The kitchen is so dreamy and bright. Maybe one day when I finally FINISH renovating my kitchen I can use you for inspiration……right now I’m still living with no backsplash, two different floors, and unmatched light fixtures 🙁 I have a hard time getting things done. (I love your idea of hanging the clipboards with the vintage images down the wall, too.)
Aww, thanks girl, you’re too sweet. I used to be awful at making decisions now I just make fast decisions because it’s stuff I love. But time and money are usually the bigger obstacles, right?
Hugs, Jamie
Ahh gorgeous gorgeous!! So bright and clean and chic!
Thanks so much, Victoria. I adore your blog & style.
Hugs, Jamie

Your kitchen is beautiful. I love the holiday touches you added… so well done. I was wondering what is the brand of your sink?
Thank you so much, Nan! I have a full source list of my kitchen now on the blog. I believe the sink is from Kohler. Here is the link: https://somuchbetterwithage.com/2015/02/industrial-vintage-french-kitchen/

Beautiful Kitchen! I know this post is older but I have the same microwave and I’m wondering what trim kit you used for the built-in look?
AH! How did I miss your comment? So sorry. It was a trim kit that I got from the appliance store. The microwave is a Panasonic and the trim kit was too.
Hugs, Jamie
Hi–Are the cabinets frameless? Thanks.
Yes, they are frames, Helen.
Kitchen is beautiful. I know it was long ago now but did you ever find counter info. I’m in midst of remodel and love your counters…. Thanks
Never mind. I see source list. Thank you so much
So glad you found it Barb. I love those countertops. I’m putting them in again in my new house 😉

I really like your stark white countertop. Is it marble or granite?
Thanks Shannon! They are quartz and they are white but a bit of grey throughout that mimic carrara marble 😉
Hugs, Jamie

Love your kitchen! The subway tile you used is it a matte finish or glossy?
HI Tammy,
It’s glossy tile!
Hugs, Jamie
Love this kitchen! What colour of grout did you use? I’m have a grout dilemma!
Hi Kristie, I don’t have the name of the color grout but I literally just picked a charcoal grey grout to go with it. Light grey, dark grey or white all look really good! The house I’m in now has white grout with subway tile.
Hugs, Jamie
Where is hardware on cabinets from?
Absolutely gorgeous! Great job!
Thank you Sharon!
